Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire: how many post-credits scenes are there after the end?

The Ghostbusters are back to deal with a new spectral threat, bringing together the original and new crews. Is there a secret after the credits start to roll?

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the newest entry into the Ghostbusters saga that basically all of us have grown up with, is finally in theaters after a couple of delays. But with the movie industry as it is now, are there any after-credits scenes?

Whether to tease a hopefully upcoming sequel in the series or simply as an additional joke, post-credits scenes (also known as “stingers”) are now an extremely common part of the movie industry. Ever since Marvel Studios mastered the art of sequel-baiting with the MCU, almost every studio has taken to teasing their future plans in this same manner. But for Ghostbusters, that’s not such a new thing, as Ghostbusters: Afterlife already had two extremely cool scenes that teased this new movie.

Does Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire have any post-credits scenes?

The short answer to that question in case you’re looking to not spoil yourself is yes! There is only one post-credits scene, immediately after the main cast credits roll and before the full credits begin.

If you don’t want to get any sort of spoilers, we can tell you that the scene is a very short stinger, only around 30 seconds long, and is mostly there just for fun. There is no important lore implications or future movie teases, so it’s ok if you skip it.

What happens in the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire post-credit scene?

Once again, be warned that the following contains spoilers for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. While we won’t get into details about the entire plot of the movie, as we’re talking about the ending there might be information that lowers the stakes of the film for some.

After the defeat of Garraka, New York City is shown to be recovering from the events in the film that covered it in snow and ice. But the scene focuses on the Mini-Pufts introduced in the previous movie, Afterlife, which also appear throughout Frozen Empire. While the team has been trying to put them all in containment, at least one of them seems to have escaped, here seen hijacking a trucker’s ride at a gas station.
