Gran Turismo 7’s new update: three European cars and a lot of nostalgia
Lancia Delta HF Integrale, Citroën BX 19 TRS and Peugeot 2008 arrive alongside new events, menus and GT Sophy AI improvements.

Polyphony Digital rolled out Update 1.60 for Gran Turismo 7 on June 26, 2025, delivering a trio of European automotive legends, fresh solo challenges and a boost to its AI driver, GT Sophy. This free download blends classic rally heritage with modern muscle, inviting racers to relive motorsport history on PlayStation.
Three iconic European additions
• Lancia Delta HF Integrale Rally Car ’92: The pinnacle of Lancia’s Group A legacy, the Integrale combined turbocharged four-wheel drive with beefed-up bodywork and a roof-mounted wing. It powered Juha Kankkunen, Carlos Sainz and Didier Auriol to multiple WRC titles, cementing its status as a 1990s rally icon.
• Citroën BX 19 TRS ’87: Marcello Gandini’s angular design and hydropneumatic suspension made the BX both futuristic and faithful to Citroën’s heritage. Despite sharing parts with Peugeot, its nitrogen-oil suspension system offered unmatched ride comfort, making it a standout in late-80s touring car showrooms.• Peugeot SUV 2008 ’21: Representing contemporary French craftsmanship, the compact 2008 merges crossover versatility with sleek styling. Its debut in 2021 reflected Peugeot’s push into electrification and modern urban performance.
Fresh content beyond the garage
Update 1.60 doesn’t stop at car additions. It introduces:
- Three new Solo Events—including a Rallycross showdown in Scotland’s highlands.
- An Additional Menu for streamlined access to Scapes photo mode settings.
- Scotland as a new Scapes location, perfect for capturing misty moors and ancient castles.
- GT Sophy AI expansion to the Alsace – Pueblo circuit, sharpening the neural-network driver’s reflexes on narrow, technical layouts.
A nostalgic drive
By weaving in the Delta’s rally pedigree and the BX’s hydropneumatic charm, the update taps into decades of European motorsport lore. Whether you’re drifting through Loch Lomond curves or drifting sideways on a sun-drenched French vineyard, these cars deliver both historical gravitas and exhilarating performance.
