GTA 5 actor delivers the most hopeful message about GTA 6
The new installment of the Rockstar Games video game will be released in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
If nothing goes wrong, the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto saga will be released later this year. After the release of the first trailer, Rockstar Games has not shown anything new about GTA 6 and more than a year has already passed. However, the actor who played Michael in the fifth chapter is convinced that the studio is preparing something really big. So hopeful were Ned Luke’s statements in an interview with Fall Damage, where he stressed that he believes the game will be “fantastic”.
“You never know what Rockstar is going to do. What I tell people is, be patient. It’s going to be worth the wait. From what I’ve seen, it’s going to be amazing. They’re going to blow our [GTA V] numbers away.” The interpreter is referring to the $800 million the fifth installment made in its first 24 hours. Luke expects the new title to top $1.3 billion in a single day - almost nothing!
Unlike Trevor and Franklin, Michael hasn’t returned to GTA Online, but he doesn’t completely rule it out: Maybe he’s coming in a final DLC? Maybe he’s not. Maybe [Michael, Franklin, and Trevor will be] in GTA 6, like [its online mode]. Maybe. Maybe not. You know Rockstar is not going to tell you anything. And if we say anything, you know they will not be very happy."
GTA 6 at 100 dollars?
Take-Two Interactive has not announced anything about the price of GTA 6, but some analysts have assured that the industry expects Rockstar’s game to be the first step in increasing the price of games to $100. They believe that if that happens, other companies will follow suit as development costs have skyrocketed. In the current generation of consoles, prices for new releases have already risen to $79.99.
GTA 6 is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
