Rockstar Games revealed new details about the Grand Theft Auto VI pre-order early this morning. It appears we won’t have to wait until its release to learn key information about the gamewhich will take us back to Vice City—including its price, as well as the release of new screenshots.

What editions will GTA 6 have, and how much will they cost?

While the official statement stops short of spelling everything out, players can expect two editions of Grand Theft Auto VI: a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Edition. The latter will include all pre-order bonuses (more on those below), one free month of GTA+, and a selection of collectible items for protagonists Jason and Lucia.

As for pricing, reports from outlets such as Business Wire suggest that some of the worst fears may be unfounded. Only the Ultimate Edition is expected to retail at $100, while the base edition would be priced at $79.99.

The physical edition will ship without a disc

Rockstar has also confirmed that “the physical version of Grand Theft Auto VI, containing a download code inside the box, will be available starting November 12 to support pre-loading.” That same date applies to digital pre-orders as well. Everything points to the absence of a physical disc, a move seemingly designed to give players a full week to download the game and be ready to play from the very first minute on launch day.

What pre-order bonuses are included?

As previously announced, Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Anyone who pre-orders the game before November 20—regardless of edition—will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, described as “a collection of items that flash back to when the neon burned brightest.”
