GTA VI’s map will be one of the largest in the series, and this is what it could look like

The imminent arrival of a new installment of Grand Theft Auto, or any open-world game from Rockstar Games, marks the beginning of a very special season. This is the time of big leaks of alleged maps, a time of life where people imagine, create, and say they saw an illustration in the house of their uncle who works at Rockstar. Truly, an era that we know is full of imagination, but also with the advance of time, massive analysis on the Internet, and, why not, even artificial intelligence, we will see real maps that will surely be close in several details to what we can see in 2025.

GTA VI is set to be the biggest in Rockstar’s history

Whether through leaks or simple logic, we know that every map within a game Rockstar has released has been incremental in size. Except, of course, for the leap from GTA San Andreas to GTA IV, where the increase was in the verticality of the buildings and the level of detail. So what does the next installment have in store for us? Something that users on Reddit and various social media have tried to put together, either from the leaks of a few years ago, to what is now known thanks to the first trailer of what will be Vice City and what we will get to see of the state of Leonida, and its surroundings, thanks to GTA VI mapping:

But what do these maps contain? For starters, both Vice City, with its city dominating the east coast, as well as the beach are an essential part that cannot fail. A clear evolution of what happened in GTA III and GTA IV. On the other hand, the maps share a large lake in the northern part and several towns and small cities around it. In the same way, GTA V reintroduced a community beyond Los Santos, giving the state of San Andreas more life and places to wreak havoc. On the other hand, we cannot leave aside the great ecosystem that the game presents. While in Red Dead Redemption 2 we had the opportunity to visit swamps and fight crocodiles, we will soon be able to see something similar.

Remember, this is just speculation supported only by leaks, so we can only wait for Rockstar to do its thing and show us more and more of this impressive map, which aims to be even bigger than what we saw in GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2.

When GTA 6 will be released

Although Rockstar has not mentioned when exactly Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released, the company has confirmed that the game will arrive in the fall 2025. In the meantime, we can only await the arrival of a title that could completely change the video game industry.
