He goes to his grandparents' house and finds a retro treasure that was confiscated because it was for adults
A Reddit user shares how his grandparents confiscated an original PlayStation video game from him, and how he found it sealed up 25 years later.

Stories of finding “retro treasures” in attics, basements, storage rooms, or relatives' houses have become increasingly common thanks to the rise of social networking. In this case, we have another strange tale of an old-school gamer who, while visiting his grandparents' house, stumbled upon a strange time capsule: a sealed copy of Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style (1999). As its name suggests, this video game featured the members of the prolific hip-hop group, and although it was not one of the best games of the first PlayStation, it is still very much loved and remembered by both Wu-Tang Clan fans and those who played it at the time.
He goes to visit his grandparents and finds a new game because he was forbidden to open it when he was a kid
This story comes from the gamecollecting subforum on Reddit, where a user posted that he found a sealed copy of Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style, a fighting video game developed by Paradox Development that was notorious not only for allowing four-player simultaneous play, but also for being based on the Wu-Tang Clan and exploiting both the members of the actual group and the martial arts theme of many of its songs for its setting.
The finding has a very strange reason; according to the creator of the publication, his grandparents confiscated the game because it has an M rating, which makes it suitable only for adults. This was because the game was very violent, not so much because of the genre it belonged to, but because of Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style was a “reskin” of the controversial Thrill Kill. This title, which was supposed to unseat Mortal Kombat as the most controversial video game of all time in terms of blood and gore, was canceled, forcing Paradox to reuse its engine in other titles such as Wu-Tang. Since its grandparents took it away, this video game has been stored in perfect condition, even retaining an outer blister from the store where it was purchased.
It was not a particularly noteworthy title, except for its strange and controversial origin story, so it is possible to find copies on eBay today for prices around $200, as can be seen in the bargain aggregator PriceCharting. In other words, the find will not solve the life of its rightful owner, but at least it will have brought him a good memory of a quarter of a century ago, when his life was simpler and he did not have the typical worries of adult life.
