Super Bowl Preamble Framed by Esports

The week leading up to Super Bowl LVIII was filled with activities hosted by Electronic Arts. The week started with the Field the Future (which you can read all about here) and activations within the NFL Experience. It culminated with the game itself, which was filled with memorable moments, including an incredible final quarter filled with interceptions and a close score. In the end, Leverette prevailed over his opponent, who would eventually become his roommate and won a championship belt, earning him the number 10 spot in the MCS.

The Victory Ring

After the victory, Henry was presented with a ring designed by the same designer who created the ring given to the winning players in the Super Bowl. His current record in the tournament is 12-5, which shows that it hasn’t been an easy road.

For his part, Leverette made history by becoming the first player in the tournament to surpass $1 million in winnings.

It will be interesting to see if the champion will be able to add to his winnings next year, or if Wesley will have to face him again, as this is not the first time that these former roommates have faced each other.
