‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2 First Trailer Unleashes the Dance of the Dragons

The Dance of the Dragons kicks off a new season that aims to make us wince at the devastating conflict.

We had to wait, but we already have the first trailer for season 2 of ‘House of the Dragon’, the Max series based on the novel ‘Fire and Blood’ by George R.R. Martin. A second season that will begin immediately after what happened in the previous one, and that in the trailer shows us the huge conflict that has been unleashed after the final events of the first season.

When will House of the Dragon Season 2 premiere?

There is no confirmed date yet, but it has been made official that the second season of ‘House of the Dragon’ will premiere in early summer 2024. So from June 20th it could be available on Max.

Synopsis for ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2

Season 1 of the series ended with the coronation of Aegon Targaryen after the death of Viserys, the first of his name, which was kept as secret as possible to prevent Rhaenyra from acting and preventing the coronation. After what happened, she acted, sending her children to various fronts to rally support. What happened? The series ends with the death of Lucerys Velaryon at the hands of Aemond Targaryen and his dragon Vhagar, which would end with Arrax in flight. An ending not desired by Aemond, who intended only to frighten his cousin, but who ultimately loses control and triggers the beginning of the conflict known as the Dance of the Dragons.

Number of episodes in Season 2 of ‘House of the Dragon’

The second season of ‘House of the Dragon’ will have a total of eight episodes, unlike the first season which had a total of 10 episodes. The fact that the series will have a third season will allow the writers to structure the entire content of the book.
