‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3 final trailer teases the bloodiest battles yet
Update:

We’re just a few weeks away from the return of House of the Dragon’ Season 3 on HBO, and this morning the crows woke us up to surprise us with the final trailer for this season. The bloody battles we were promised are finally approaching.

The war between the Greens and the Blacks intensifies

The trailer showcases the battles to come and the consequences of so many years of war. From the Battle of the Gullet to the conflict involving dragons, the trailer focuses more on the clashes and their outcomes than on the politics we’ve seen over the past two seasons. Rhaenyra Targaryen is determined to do whatever it takes to reclaim her rightful throne, which Aegon no longer holds, and now has Aemond Targaryen as the new regent king.

Also, based on some details we can see throughout the trailer, everything points to the end being near. This aligns with a recent interview with showrunner and co-creator Ryan Condal, in which he mentioned that the plan is for the series to end with Season 4. In the same interview, he also spoke about the level of detail they aimed for in creating the famous Battle of the Gullet, noting that “If we were gonna do it, we had to do it right. And that meant dragons and ships and multiple theaters of conflict.
