We are living in the age of subscriptions. It is becoming more and more common to find ourselves paying a small portion of our salary for streaming services as well as video games. While we have been paying for a service to play online titles like PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core for a few years now, these subscriptions are now making their way into major franchises. Grand Theft Auto is one of those franchises that has entered the subscription world with GTA+, a service that launched in 2022 and started out offering extras to GTA Online users, but has expanded its catalog of goods over time.
What is GTA+ and how much does it cost?
Following the release of Grand Theft Auto V for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on March 15, 2022, Rockstar launched a premium membership for GTA players on these consoles at a cost of $7.99 per month. GTA+ members will have access to The Vinewood Club, a facility with a premium vehicle rotation and space for up to 100 personal vehicles in The Vinewood Club Garage.
