How to get the new outfit of Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat in Fortnite
We tell you what you have to do to get both Sub-Zero’s new outfit and all its accessories and additional styles in Fortnite.

Lawless, the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, is here, and among its new outfits brings a very special guest. It is nothing more and nothing less than Sub-Zero, one of the most famous fighters of the popular and brutal fighting game saga Mortal Kombat. In this article, we will tell you in detail and step by step what you need to do to get Sub-Zero in Fortnite. Let’s go:
How do I unlock Sub-Zero’s outfit in Fortnite?
Unlike other past collaborations from other video games in Fortnite, such as Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher or Solid Snake from Metal Gear, Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat is not a secret outfit that must be unlocked by completing specific quests, but it is possible to obtain it from day one of the new season as it is simply part of the new Battle Pass.

To get Sub-Zero in Fortnite, we first need to buy the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass. We can do it for 1,000 V-Bucks (about $8.99), or we can also access it if we are members of the Fortnite Crew, which is a monthly subscription that costs $11.99 each month. Once that is done, we need to get to level 85 of the season and unlock it in the corresponding tab of the Battle Pass.
To level up, we can play normally, complete daily, weekly, or event-specific quests, or, if we’re very impatient, we can buy levels with V-Bucks, Fortnite’s virtual currency. In any case, to get Sub-Zero as part of the Battle Pass for the current season, we have to do it before May 2, 2025, as this is the end date. After that date, Sub-Zero can return to Fortnite as part of the daily store content.
All the cosmetic items of Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat in Fortnite
Below we leave you with the complete list of Sub-Zero’s cosmetic items in Fortnite. Among them, we find many references to his appearances and abilities in different games of the Mortal Kombat franchise:

- Sub-Zero (MK3) outfit : includes Sub-Zero (MK3) and Bi-Han styles
- Spinality back bling
- Sub-Zero’s Icy Axes Pickaxe
- Sub-Zero’s Battle Axes Pickaxe
- Frozen Treat Cart Emote
- Mortal Spirits Contrail
- Mortal Kombat Logo banner icon
- Lin Kuei Logo banner icon
- Forzen Kombat Emoji
- Sub-Zero’s Ice Burst Wrapper
- Kombat Crasher Glider: includes the additional Klassic Kombat Crasher style
- Round One Loading Screen
- Cryomancy Master loading screen
- Sub-Zero’s Challenge Graffiti
- Stay Cool Graffiti
An interesting detail is that the additional Bi-Han style means that we can control both Kuai Liang and his older brother. The standard version of the outfit features Kuai Liang, the Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat 3, easily recognizable by the iconic scar over his eye. However, the alternate style allows us to play as Bi-Han, the original Sub-Zero of the saga who later became Noob Saibot.
To get all of these items, we need to level up throughout the season. Sub-Zero’s outfit and some cosmetics will be unlocked in the Battle Pass when you reach level 100, but others can be found in the Additional Rewards section. This means that we will have to keep playing and earning Battle Stars until we reach level 200 to unlock all of Sub-Zero’s content.
