If GTA 6 will be delayed, we will know on this date: Rockstar Games is playing very soon
Take-Two will meet with investors in February on a date we already know.
There are two very important releases in 2025. One is Nintendo Switch 2, which has already set the date of its presentation, and the other is Grand Theft Auto 6, which still points to its current release window. Whether or not this date changes will depend on what Take-Two announces at its next investor meeting, which already has a date and will be held very soon.
This is the key date to know the future of GTA 6
Mark your calendars: February 6th. On this day, Take Two will gather its investors to announce the results of the third fiscal quarter (Q3/FY25). The publisher chooses these moments to show its sales strength for the coming months. If GTA 6 will be delayed, we will know on this date. If it goes ahead, the confirmation of the dates will give a little more security to the players, although a future delay cannot be ruled out. Nothing is set in stone.
We say this because Jason Schreier himself, the respected journalist from Bloomberg, says that his sources indicate that Rockstar has missed several deadlines. It is a common practice in the studio, but given the magnitude of the project, chaining this kind of circumstances does not invite to be optimistic. However, everything remains to be decided.
Meanwhile, the fans continue to do their thing and already point to January 31st as the release date of the second trailer. What supports this argument? A picture of GTA Online on social media. It’s a wet paper that will most likely fall on deaf ears, just like the crazy December 27 theory that made more than one person look like a fool.
The industry remains patient.
