Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny gets a new trailer and it is pure adventure

Harrison Ford dons the fedora once more in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and its newest trailer is full of adventure and nostalgia for the entire series.

Update:
Indiana Jones 5

Professor Jones is retiring, but not before starring in one last adventure. Star Wars Celebration in London has been the setting chosen to show off a new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the long-awaited fifth film in the saga. Steven Spielberg has handed over the baton to James Mangold, who stepped behind the scenes to direct Harrison Ford in his latest incarnation of the character.

You can see the trailer, more than two minutes long, below these lines. It includes previously shown footage, but also new scenes that have us excited. In addition to Harrison Ford, the cast includes stars like Mads Mikkelsen and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, without forgetting that John Williams is once again the composer of the original soundtrack.

The end of the Indiana Jones saga?

A few months ago it was leaked that Lucasfilm was studying the possibility of developing an Indiana Jones series for Disney+. However, those plans seem to have been cut short. According to a press release, the film will be “the highly anticipated final installment of this beloved franchise”. They have also stated that it will be “the final Indiana Jones adventure.” In any case, words are carried away by the wind, they are not written in stone. What is certain is that Harrison Ford will say goodbye to the character after the premiere of this movie.

James Mangold was chosen by Lucasfilm to direct a new star wars movie, which will be set in a very remote time, before even the era of the Old Republic. Although details are scarce, the film will tell the origins of the Jedi, a story that has not been explored in the current canon, although the ancestral books of the Order appear in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate will be released on June 30th in movie theaters.
