After two years of waiting, Prime Video finally revealed the premiere date for Invincible Season 2 on its streaming service during its panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The reveal was made along with the first teaser trailer for the season, which you can watch below:
Invincible Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, the first half of which will debut on November 3. After a mid-season hiatus, the second half of the season will return at a yet-to-be-announced date in early 2024. In addition to this announcement, a special screening of “Atom Eve,” a standalone episode focusing on the origin of the titular character, was also announced, and luckily we can watch it today on Prime Video.
Just this week, Prime Video unveiled the first poster for the new season, proclaiming, “Almost there!”
A long wait for its return
Invincible debuted in March 2021 and became a hit among fans and critics. Shortly after Season 1 ended, it was announced that the series would be renewed not only for Season 2, but also for Season 3. Since then, no further details have been released about the Skybound Entertainment animation, which offered a fresh and daring approach to the superhero genre.
What is Invincible about?
