It’s been over ten years since Stardew Valley was released, and many players have never seen this NPC interaction
A rare Easter egg that will challenge veteran players.
Stardew Valley is one of those games that, despite its simplicity, is full of Easter eggs and secrets. Since its release a little less than 10 years ago, its community has grown, and with each update, new ways to enjoy it have been found. Despite being a game that focuses not only on the farm but on building a community, the interactions between the members of Pelican Town and its surroundings are often few and far between. And some interactions are very obvious, while others require a lot of prerequisites to occur, making a relatively new interaction still a great mystery among its players.
The Strangest Interaction in Stardew Valley
One of the most surprising interactions among Stardew Valley players is between Krobus, the strange creature from the sewers beneath Pelican City, and the Witch. Krobus is a character that appears quite obviously, as we can meet him once we unlock the Rusty Key from Gunther, which gives us access to numerous items. The Witch, on the other hand, is a character that the player never really interacts with, only occasionally flying over the town or farm. At best, players can find her hut if they manage to reach it in the Dark Talisman mission offered by the Wizard.
How do you find the interaction between Krobus and the Witch?
There seems to be no obvious connection between the two characters. One is hiding in the underground, while the other is more of a presence than an NPC to interact with. To encounter this interaction, you must have a very high friendship with Korbus and go to the Secret Woods on a rainy Friday in either fall or winter. The time is not clear. The interaction will show both characters talking, though the game does not show what happens in this interaction, so there is not much to add to the already intricate lore of the game.
