Krafton

It’s like The Sims, but more realistic: inZOI takes on one of the most popular games in history

The game will be released on PC on March 28, although the studio is already working on a console version.

inZOI

Electronic Arts announced a few months ago that it is giving up on The Sims 5. There will be no next installment as such, but they will continue to expand the fourth game, which was released in 2014. Meanwhile, South Korean developer inZOI Studio has made a move and is preparing the arrival of inZOI, a life simulator similar to the Maxis game, but with a much more realistic graphical finish. The project will be published by Krafton, the company that publishes PUBG and has just acquired Tango Gameworks, the studio behind Hi-FI Rush.

The title, which will be PC-only at launch, invites players to become part of a world full of experiences. According to the developers, it will emulate the real world in the sense that your alter ego will be able to earn a living, build relationships and actively participate in the community. In addition, they assure that the NPCs will be equipped with complex routines, giving them a will of their own. There will be “unexpected events” and a number of customization options that will be tailored to each player’s needs.

Customization is key

inZOI is developed with Unreal Engine 5 and includes a powerful character creation tool. It will be possible to change their appearance and clothing, but also to determine their personality. On the other hand, the game will allow you to build the house of your dreams “with a wide variety of furniture and structures” that can be moved. According to the official description, the customization goes beyond the house, as there are elements of the city and streets that can be changed to your liking.

The game will be available for PC on March 28th. The console version is in development but has no release date yet.
