Anime

It’s not what you’d expect from Shingeki no Kyojin, but the movie’s new post-credits scene is quite a treat

An alternate universe with our favorite characters.

shingeki no kyojin

Shingeki no Kyojin: THE LAST ATTACK’ was released in Japan last Friday, November 8th and was a huge success. It is a movie that compiles the last episodes of the series in full and with the original vision of its director, also adding a new post-credits scene that has been talked about for not being what many expected, but that manages to be a gift for fans of the manga and that leaves the complete animated adaptation of the work of Hajime Isayama.

The announcement of a new post-credits scene filled fans of the series with expectations about the possibility of a new spin-off adaptation, but in the end it was not the case. This one adapts ‘Attack on School Castes’, some mangas that were published from volume 21 to 34 of the work, showing a kind of alternate universe where the protagonists of the series are high school students. This scene shows us Eren, Mikasa and Armin in this universe, watching the movie in the theater and talking about it in a positive way before they leave. This is the last thing that had to be adapted from the original manga and Hajime Isayama’s work is complete.

Shingeki no Kyojin’ and its huge success in theaters

There are many who dreamed that the final part of the anime would be released directly in theaters. At the time it was not possible and we had to wait for the release of its various parts, but the decision to mount and leave in the best possible condition the conclusion of the anime adaptation has proven to be a huge success. In its first weekend of release it managed to collect a total of 235 million yen in the Asian country, a commendable figure considering that its release was initially limited to 150 theaters throughout the country.

Meanwhile, it should be remembered that yesterday a world tour of the concert of this work was announced, which will tour the United States and Canada.
