It’s official, Whatsapp presents its application for iPad after years of insistence of users
The messaging application adapts to the large screen and enhances its functions with the features of the iPadOS.
Almost immediate communication is one of the most important elements of our society today, and WhatsApp is a prime example of the importance of these types of messaging services. The service first appeared on smartphones and eventually came to personal computers. However, it had never reached tablets, which many users rely on. Although it may seem strange, Meta has officially announced that WhatsApp can now be used on iPads.
Through a publication on its official site, it has been announced that our messages can finally be seen on this Apple device. This version will bring with it the classic functions of this messaging service, also taking advantage of the intrinsic elements of the iPad to finally enjoy our messages on a larger screen.
What features does Whatsapp for iPad bring with it?
Within the release, it was announced that this version takes advantage of iPad multitasking to allow you to do many more things, keeping the screen divided between the windows you have on an iPad compatible with Stage Manager, as well as taking advantage of the Magic Keyboard and the Apple Pencil.
Along with this, META assures that all privacy and synchronization issues will be present in this version. “WhatsApp for iPad uses our industry leading multi-device technology to keep everything in sync across your iPhone, Mac and other devices while protecting your personal messages, calls and media with end-to-end encryption, no matter what platform or device you’re messaging.”
