Konami announces its own Summer Game Fest with news about Silent Hill f, Metal Gear Solid Delta and more
It’s an opportunity to learn more about the return of two great franchises.
Summer brings with it a flurry of announcements in the video game industry, and after a week starring the Summer Game Fest, it is now Konami who takes over with an event of its own: Konami Press Start. The broadcast will take place this Thursday, June 12, and promises to be one of the key moments for fans of the Japanese company’s classic catalog.
With an estimated running time of 37 minutes, Konami Press Start will focus on some of its most highly anticipated franchises. Confirmed games include Silent Hill f, the next chapter in the iconic psychological horror franchise, and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, an ambitious remake of the classic tactical espionage game. Both titles have generated significant anticipation, and new trailers or release dates are expected to be revealed during the event.
But that’s not all. The hope of fans to see the return of other classic sagas is not extinguished. Could there be a surprise related to Castlevania? The dream of a new installment—or at least a revamped collection—is always latent. Nor is the revelation of additional content for Silent Hill 2 Remake, one of the most promising projects of the Bloober Team studio, ruled out.
