League of Legends: All the items that will be removed in the 2024 season

Balance, as well as adding new features to games, is something that games are increasingly concerned with in order to extend their lifespan. This is especially true for games as a service or competitive titles like League of Legends. The Riot Games title is about to have a great series of changes and adjustments for its 2024 season, from some changes in the map, with adjustments in the terrains in its different lanes, to the characters we find in them.

However, one of the adjustments that promise to change the goal of the game for this year are the items that each of the champions of the game can carry. Below we take a look at these changes.

All the items that will be removed in the 2024 season

Through a publication made on its official blog, Riot Games has revealed a whole list of changes that will arrive for the League of Legends 2024 update. As we mentioned, the items will undergo a series of changes, with the developer “de-mythicing the item system”, this means that some of the items disappearing to give space to new ones that will arrive with new effects and costs for each in-game class. As mentioned in the blog, these changes come to “support every champion in the role, so now you can pick whichever one feels best based on your champion, matchup, or even your playstyle.”
