Loki Season 2 gets a release date and official poster
Marvel Studios is getting ready for the premiere of Loki Season 2, but for now they’ve revealed the release date and a mysterious poster.
Loki Season 2 finally has a release date, and with it comes a new poster that confirms the return of an important character and teases what might be new multiple versions of the Asgardian god of trickery.
The news comes from a tweet on Marvel’s official Twitter/X account, in which they teased that the second season of Loki will be released in 100,000 minutes from the moment the tweet was posted. The poster includes the date of October 6, meaning that the show is about 69 days away from its premiere.
The Loki season 2 poster shows a multitude of different Loki variants chasing each other in a circle, all running along the face of a clock with Miss Minutes’ face on it. Each variant is wearing slightly different clothing, with most two of them wearing the full TVA agent suit and most of them wearing the “action” uniform which lacks the jacket and simply shows off the holster straps and white button down shirt. Of special notice is that you can find one Loki wearing the prison TVA garb, one in a green suit and hat, and one wearing his classic comic-accurate horn helmet with the full Asgardian getup.
When will the first trailer for Loki Season 2 be released?
As of this moment, very few reveals about the show’s second season have been revealed. Our first glimpse of it was at the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania post-credits, which showed off a quick scene of Loki and Mobius in the middle of a crowd seemingly looking for a version of Kang the Conqueror.
With the reveal of its official release date, it wouldn’t be to farfetched to guess that at the very least a teaser trailer could be dropped on the internet during the first few weeks of August.
Loki Season 2 will bring back Tom Hiddleston in the titular role alongside Owen Wilson as Agent Mobius, exclusively on Disney+.
