Dragon Ball
Looks like a ‘boy band’ but this is the brutal cover of the latest ‘Dragon Ball Super’ manga written by Toriyama
Toyotaro shares a spectacular cover of the manga’s 24th volume: this is what the most powerful versions of Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Broly and Piccolo look like.

Finally, and after a hiatus of more than a year, it seems that the manga ‘Dragon Ball Super’ is back in print. So much so that the next issue, Volume 24, already has a release date in Japan, and its main creator, illustrator Toyotaro, wanted to celebrate the news by sharing his brutal and spectacular cover. An illustration in the purest “boy band” style, in which the most powerful transformations of Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Broly and Piccolo appear. It is also the last volume written and supervised by Akira Toriyama before his death in March 2024.
The return of ‘Dragon Ball Super’ in style
The next volume 24 of the manga ‘Dragon Ball Super’ will collect the last chapters published in the V-Jump in 2024, in addition to the one-shot episode that Toyotaro completed last February. All in all, these are the last pages written and supervised by Akira Toriyama before his sudden death a little over a year ago. A piece, this new volume of ‘Dragon Ball Super’ that will be a treasure for fans of the franchise and its author.

All this will start next April 4th, when the 24th volume of ‘Dragon Ball Super’ will be released in Japan. Of course, the international release of this volume still has no date. But what does this new cover of the 24th volume of ‘Dragon Ball Super’ show us?
Without a doubt, Toyotaro has outdone himself and created an absolutely beastly illustration featuring the most powerful warriors of the current ‘Dragon Ball Super’ arc. The result is a dynamic cover featuring Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Broly and Piccolo in their most powerful transformations, namely Goku Ultra Instinct, Vegeta Ultra Ego, Gohan Beast, Piccolo Orange and Broly with his characteristic legendary version of the Super Saiyan.

All of them in tattered clothes and with obvious signs of a fierce fight, as well as the most vascularized and fibrous bodies yet, Toyotaro’s trademark. In any case, it seems that “Dragon Ball Super” will not end soon, as there are still some loose ends, with the presence of the dreaded Black Frieza on the horizon.
