Warhorse Studios
Luffy from ‘One Piece’, Puss in Boots and the most surprising homages of the first contender for GOTY 2025, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has many nods to licenses from the world of manga, film, and television.

Let’s face it: few saw the earthquake that was Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 sent through the RPG genre. The success of Warhorse Studios, which turned a profit within hours of its release, has achieved praise in this house that few games have achieved. The 10 allows it to sit at the table of giants such as the recent Baldur’s Gate 3, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. But the game has surprised the community with the amount of homages it pays to other licenses. Here are a few of them.
The most famous hat of ‘One Piece’
You can’t say that ‘One Piece’ is in vogue anymore, because it’s been in vogue ever since it burst into Shonen Jump. Oda’s work has its own special tribute in this portrait of Bohemia. Walking through a forest, you will find a straw hat with a red band perfectly placed on some stones, as if paying homage to the forest. When you equip it, the fame shoots up like the good pirate that Luffy is. You can find it at the location of the following video.
Boots to conquer them all
In order to see this tribute in the game, you will have to immerse yourself in the game for several hours. It’s not until you jump to the second map, which is the massive city of Kutna Hora, that you’ll see the booted cat under the walls of the northern entrance. These boots and the sword in his mouth are unmistakable elements of his appearance.

Harry and the world imagined by Tim Burton
Many young users on Reddit did not recognize the corpse of a man of enormous size, but small head. This somewhat hidden reference (why deny it) is dedicated to ‘Beetlejuice’. Specifically, the character is known as Harry the Hunter, who appears in the first installment with his peculiar appearance.

The loinclothed hero who helped the Elden Ring community.
Many will know the legend behind Let Me Solo Her. The mythical user helped hundreds of users in the battle against Malenia, one of the most difficult in all of Elden Ring. But he didn’t do it in the usual way. His fighting style led him to carry a sword in each hand, a loincloth around his waist, and a jug on his head as his only protection. His story was so infamous that even the makers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 wanted to pay tribute to him.
