Mario Kart 8 Deluxe shares a release date for the Booster Course Pass Wave 5 DLC

Nintendo has posted a new trailer for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 5, which reveals when the new DLC will be available and what to expect.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe entrega 5 pase de circuitos extra DLC

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continues to ride the crest of the wave. The latest installment of the racing series continues to receive content on Nintendo Switch through its well-known Boost Course Pass, but we’re getting close to the end. The fifth wave of content, two more cups with four circuits each, will arrive to the game on July 12. Nintendo celebrated the news with a trailer that sets the stage for what’s to come. You can see it below.

Birdo, who was added in an earlier wave, will not be the only classic character to be added through this content. This fifth wave of the DLC incorporates Petey Piranha, Wiggler, and Kamek as new drivers. It is expected that more faces from the Mario franchise will join in the sixth and final scheduled round, which will take place sometime before the end of the current year.

What tracks does wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Extra Tracks Pass include?

Eight new circuits await you distributed in two cups. The Feather Cup offers the circuits Athens Dash (Mario Kart Tour), Daisy Cruiser (Mario Kart Double Dash), and Moonview Highway (Mario Kart Wii), and the brand new course, Squeaky Clean Sprint. On the other hand, the Cherry Cup includes Los Angeles Laps (Mario Kart Tour), Sunset Wilds (Mario Kart Super Circuit), Koopa Cape (Mario Kart Wii), and Vancouver Velocity (Mario Kart Tour).

The Booster Course Pass can be purchased on the Nintendo eShop for $24.99. If you are a subscriber of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack you will receive access as long as you keep your subscription active. At this time you can already play with the first four installments, which include 32 tracks spread over 8 cups.

Nintendo Switch is not resting during the second half of 2023, and the latest edition of Direct is an excellent example of this. Here you will find all of the upcoming titles announced by Nintendo for the rest of the year. Games like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG, and more.
