Marvel has confirmed a change of name for “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty”

Big changes are coming to Marvel Studios’ plans, as ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ officially gets a name change that wipes the villain off the roadmap.

There is little left to erase before all traces of Jonathan Majors are removed from the MCU. After confirming his departure from Marvel Studios, the House of Ideas continues to take steps to make a 180-degree turn to their original plan of making Kang the Conqueror the big bad of Phase 5, as the actor’s altercations with justice messed everything up. Now, with only rumors of some other new big villains - Dr. Doom, Galactus, and such- taking the stage to wage war on Marvel heroes, the company has confirmed the name change of ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty’, going on to simply being titled ‘Avengers 5′.

After his debut in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, the accusations of abuse and aggression that Majors received have so far made the actor accountable in court, but he could end up in prison. Marvel has had to react by practically eliminating Kang from their future plans, something they did not have time to do in the second season of Loki’, in which the character makes an appearance.

Now rumors indicate that Marvel could choose to call its two planned films ‘Avengers: Secret Wars Part I’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars Part II’, since at the moment,’ Avengers: Secret Wars’ is still going ahead with its original name.

Substitutes are being studied for Jonathan Majors

Meanwhile, another of Marvel’s options is to hire a replacement for Jonathan Majors, having been rumored with Colman Domingo, an actor we know from ' Fear The Walking Dead’, and that he already showed himself predisposed to it. “I don’t know, I’m always looking at what I have to do right now... I know there’s talk and conversations around, and I don’t know how much is true,” said Domingo at the time. “I don’t even get that from my team, I can’t tell if it’s true or not. The fans are passionate. Somehow my name is out there in the world [and] I like the idea of just having your name called and someone speaking lovingly and kindly about something is a beautiful thing.
