The Marvel universe is constantly evolving and reinventing itself, and at the last New York Comic Con we were able to discover the future of The Avengers in the comics. This will be written by Chip Zdarsky with art by Daniel Acuña, and will be titled ‘Avengers: Twilight’, although ironically, the Avengers will no longer be there. The one who will be present will be Steve Rogers, Captain America, who will wear a new and futuristic suit designed by the legendary Alex Ross on the cover of the first issue.

“In a gleaming new world of prosperity, Captain America is no more. But Steve Rogers still exists, floating through an America where freedom is an illusion, where the Avengers are strangers and his friends are long dead. But is the Dream? How do you assemble Avengers in a world that doesn’t want them?” says the official synopsis of ‘Avengers: Twilight’.

What’s happening with Captain America in the movies?

Meanwhile, on the big screen we will have to wait for the premiere of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, in which Anthony Mackie, formerly Falcon, will take the shield and Cap’s role in the future of the Marvel Cinematographic Universe. In turn, Danny Ramírez, who was already present in ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, aims to be the new Falcon. Stars such as Harrison Ford and WWE wrestler Seth Rollins will also be present in the film.

On the other hand, Sam Wilson (Mackie) will lead the new Avengers in ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ and ‘Avengers: Kang’s Dynasty’, the upcoming movies of the most popular superhero group in history.
