Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3 kicks off filming with this revealing image

Actor Stefan Kapicic, who plays Colossus, shares a picture with the main characters of the third part of Deadpool, now as part of the MCU.

Update:
Deadpool 3

The long-awaited Deadpool 3, the third installment in the cinematic adventures of Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth, has already begun filming ahead of its November 2024 release. This has been confirmed by actor Stefan Kapicic, who returns as Colossus, through a publication on his official Instagram account. A publication in the form of a more than revealing image, since it brings together the main protagonists of the film, from Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman - in their roles as Deadpool and Wolverine - to other cast members such as Morena Baccarin or himself.

Deadpool 3 begins shooting

This image shared by the Colossus actor confirms the start of the production of Deadpool 3, including the same message above the official logo of the film torn by Wolverine’s adamantium claws. And just below we can see a small composition with the different main characters of the film, with Deadpool and Wolverine in the center, along with Morena Baccarin, Karan Soni, Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicici himself, all characterized as their respective Marvel characters.

Full screen

Recently, it was confirmed the return of Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead -as shown in the image of the Colossus actor- along with Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, giving rise to the first MCU movie totally focused on mutant characters. If this is how mutants will arrive to the larger MCU, it remains to be seen. Let’s remember that Deadpool 3 will be rated R, that is, only recommended for adults due to its explicit violence and language, unlike the rest of the MCU movies that are PG-13, or what is the same, not recommended for children under 13 years old.

Deadpool 3 hits theaters on November 8, 2024, with Deadpool and the rest of the mutants from his films crossing the gates of the multiverse to land in the MCU. And alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
