Marvel’s Secret Invasion: Emilia Clarke shares the first details of her character

Emilia Clarke has finally shared some information about her mysterious character in the MCU, set to debut in Marvel’s Secret Invasion alongside Samuel L. Jackson.

Update:
Marvel's Secret Invasion

Emilia Clarke, one of the biggest stars of Game of Thrones, makes her MCU debut playing a character familiar to fans of the comics Marvel’s Secret Invasion is based on. We’re talking about G’iah, the Skrull whose first appearance in the comics dates back to 2019. The actress has shared the first details of her role in an interview with Variety.

“There’s a kind of punk feeling that you get from this girl. She’s a refugee kid who’s had Talos for a dad, you know what I mean? Maybe the fact that we didn’t know he had a kid up until this point tells you everything you need to know about their relationship.”, Clarke explained.

The actress shares that G’iah (pronounced Guy-ah) is mostly against Fury, a friend of his father, and the rest of his followers. “These people promised a lot of stuff a long time ago, and not a lot has happened. So understandably, a certain amount of resentment has been built,” she reveals. Clarke assures that “a lot of emotions coexist” in the character and that we will understand the reasons for her behavior.
