Marvel's Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus update finally has a release date

After being delayed to “early 2024″, this new gameplay feature is finally coming to Insomniac Games’ latest game.

Players of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will not have to wait so long to relive the great experience that Insomniac Games unveiled last year, as the studio has announced the release date for the long-awaited New Game Plus.

Through a Twitter/X post, the studio announced that this update will arrive exactly next month, on March 7th. This update, in addition to the much requested New Game+, will include “new costumes and more.” For now, we will have to wait for the details that this new version will bring, but from the studio they comment that “watch our social media for a complete list of features closer to release.”

The New Game Plus mode was supposed to arrive at the end of last year, but the studio announced in mid-December that it would be delayed and arrive in “early 2024.″ This update would also include other features such as audio descriptions. This is in addition to other options highly requested by the community, including “the ability to change the time of day, swap vine colors, and replay missions.”

A great adventure with two Spider-Man

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is available exclusively for PS5, is one of the biggest releases of 2023. The new adventure starring Peter Parker and Miles Morales improves on what the the first two titles established in almost every aspect, offering hours and hours of fun in the Big Apple.

In our opinion of the latest game from Insomniac Games, we talk about how the new adventure of Peter and Miles “has done a great job of bringing the city to life, from better NPCs, details in the textures, weather, reflections, and there are even rats. So much care has been put into this installment that we even took the time to visit emblematic places to compare the care that has been put.”
