Insomniac
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 shows Times Square compared to the first installment
This comparison pits the two games against each other, with the iconic square as the protagonist, and shows the progress that Insomniac Games has made.
We are just over a month to get to stores Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the great exclusive of PlayStation 5 in this 2023. One of its most striking aspects is how its open world will look like, a New York City to which will be added new areas such as Brooklyn and Queens, although, as it could not be otherwise, Manhattan will be the epicenter of the adventure. It is expected that some of the most emblematic places of the Big Apple will look fantastic, and today we can see that this will be the case.
Times Square is a landmark for tourists who come to the capital of the world, an essential place to take some good selfies in company, and while it looked good in the remastering of the original, it will look fantastic in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The first screenshot belongs, as the user says, to the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man, with full specs and ray tracing. The second, on the other hand, belongs to the sequel running on a PlayStation 5. The progress is obvious and suggests that touring the city in the company of our favorite wall-crawler(s) will be more fascinating than ever.
Which characters are confirmed for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
On the other hand, it is worth remembering that this second installment of the saga will be full of characters, something that already happened in the original game with the presence of Dr. Octopus or Mr. Negative. Obviously, there will be many more in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, starting with its own protagonists, since we will be able to manage both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. However, through successive trailers we have been able to discover the presence of other villains such as Kraven the Hunter, Rhino or, of course, Venom, whose symbiote powers Parker will be able to use in battle thanks to the mythical black suit.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming to PlayStation 5 on October 20.
