Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater to arrive in 2024, according to PlayStation promotional video

A recent PlayStation promotional video confirms the release of Konami’s two major remakes during this year 2024.

Although Konami has not confirmed that the remake of Silent Hill 2 will be released in 2024, we all take it for granted. The time it has been announced, as well as the words of the Bloober team sometimes referring to its advanced stage of development, have led us to believe that there is not much time left to enjoy it. The surprise, however, comes from a PlayStation promotional video about the games that will be released this year. The video not only features Silent Hill 2, but also Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

The Japanese company has given little information about Silent Hill 2 and even less about this Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, but according to what we can see in the aforementioned video, both will be released this year. Along with them, there are already confirmed games like Tekken 8, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Helldivers 2 and Rise of the Ronin. Not only do they appear in the video, but also in the official blog post.

All featured titles scheduled for release in 2024 at the time of publication,” reads the fine print at the bottom of the article. “Release timings for unreleased titles may be subject to change and can vary by region. Please check with the relevant publisher for the most up-to-date information”

More games confirmed for PS5 in 2024

Another of the games confirmed for release in the next 12 months, and one that we did not fully expect, is Concord, one of the multiplayer games that Sony has pinned more hopes on. We also see Stellar Blade, a hack and slash game with a high technical level and a frenetic pace, as well as three recently announced titles such as the survival games Pacific Drive and Forever Skies, and The Casting of Frank Stone, the narrative game from Supermassive Games set in the universe of Dead by Daylight.
