Minecraft Star Wars: Path of the Jedi is a new intergalactic DLC game coming to Mojang’s title

Update:
Star Wars Minecraft Path of the Jedi

These are dark times for the Galactic Republic. A dark shadow moves silently, to the sound of Darth Sidious’s black robes swinging, while the Jedi Order remains blind to the horrors to come. Set in the time of the prequels, the new Minecraft DLC is Star Wars: Path of the Jedi, a full thematic adventure that will have us wielding a lightsaber against the deadliest enemies in the galaxy.

Mojang announced it during the latest Minecraft Live stream, in which they shared the first details and the debut trailer, which you can see just below these lines. In Path of the Jedi we will be a Padawan during the Clone Wars. We can customize our droid, build a lightsaber, and complete missions in the service of the Jedi Order. Of course, the character will increase in rank and can progress within the Jedi hierarchy.

As is to be expected, our protagonist will meet up with Yoda, Mace Windu, Ahsoka Tano, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, among other well-known characters. In the enemy ranks we meet the devious General Grievous and more deadly enemies. In addition, we will visit different planets such as Kamino and Coruscant, the capital of the Republic.

When is Minecraft Star Wars: Path of the Jedi releasing?

Minecraft Star Wars: Path of the Jedi, which requires the most updated version of Minecraft Bedrock Edition, will be available starting November 7 inside of the game’s store. On the other hand, until December 7th you can get an R2-D2 t-shirt if you visit the title’s locker room.

This is not the first time that Star Wars has come as DLC to a product outside the brand. The Sims 4, from Maxis and Electronic Arts, also received special content.

Minecraft is a multiplatform title available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and iOS and Android mobile devices.
