It’s been 5 days since the premiere of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning, Part 1, the new movie of the saga in which once again (the seventh), Tom Cruise gets into the role of Ethan Hunt. A new mission divided into two episodes and which, along with heavyweights like Oppenheimer or The Nun 2, was one of the most anticipated releases of 2023, but how did it do at the box office?

The latest update from Deadline shows the numbers collected through Saturday night when Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning, Part 1 managed to cross the $80 million mark in its first 5 days. A figure slightly higher than the $78.8 million that Mission: Impossible 2 (2000) in the same period. For reference, the highest-grossing film in the saga, Mission: Impossible - Fallout, grossed 61.3 million in 3 days.
