Morena Baccarin didn’t enjoy her “two days of sex” with Ryan Reynolds in ‘Deadpool’: “Like kissing a giant latex condom”

It might sound like a dream role for many, but for Morena Baccarin, acting opposite Ryan Reynolds in ‘Deadpool’ wasn’t all fireworks—especially when it came to one of the most talked-about scenes in the movie. The Brazilian-American actress, who played Wade Wilson’s girlfriend Vanessa, recently revealed that their passionate sex montage was anything but romantic behind the scenes.
According to Baccarin, locking lips with Reynolds while he was decked out in his full Deadpool costume was “like kissing a giant latex condom.”

The first ‘Deadpool’ film famously chronicles Wade and Vanessa’s romance through a wildly irreverent year-long sex montage. From Valentine’s Day to International Women’s Day, the couple celebrates nearly every holiday with a change of costume—and position. It’s cheeky, absurd, and pure Deadpool.
But Baccarin says the two-day shoot was more grueling than glamorous.
“It was really fun—minus the two days of sex scenes,” she admitted during an appearance on Conan. “I think it took about two days to shoot, because it was us making sweet love for an entire calendar year, so it’s all the holidays, you know? We dressed differently for every one…"
She had also previously said in another interview, that: “I keep saying that kissing him in that mask is like kissing a giant latex condom. It basically just smells like rubber the entire time.” she told People.
