New hints about GTA 6? Rockstar has left some clues, according to players

It’s been almost a year since the world finally got to see the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. We met its main characters, got a glimpse of Vice City and, most importantly, learned of its release date: Fall 2025. However, in true Rockstar Games fashion, the secrecy surrounding this information has returned. In an age where we want to know more and more, not knowing more about this game has left the community looking for clues everywhere for a few years now.

A new theory points to the moon (again)

This time, and it looks like it will come true, a new theory tries to justify the use of the moon in the latest Grand Theft Auto Online announcement as a clue to when the next trailer will be released. Last week’s announcement regarding the upcoming December update featured a giant moon. According to the GTA 6 Countdown account on X (formerly Twitter), this moon could be the clue to the release date of a new trailer, which according to the post could be next November 22.

And although the account comments that the relationship of these lunar phases was fulfilled last year, it also goes a bit beyond the theory itself. The image published on September 29 gave rise to speculation about the announcement for October 3, 2023, also taking into account the concordance with the release date of the trailer of the previous games, which was a Tuesday. So we can’t rely so much on a clue that has been changed to justify a new theory.

For the time being, we are still waiting for new information about Grand Theft Auto 6, which is scheduled for release in the fall of 2025. Although there are rumors of a possible delay, being May next year the deadline at the latest.
