New iPhone 18 colors revealed: Apple prepares changes from the previous model
The three possible colors for the new iPhone 18 have been leaked.
The new iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will go on sale in September of this year. But even though the launch is still several months away, the latest leaks about Apple’s new model are already going viral on social media. The images circulating show the three colors in which the new phone will be available. And, although the design is very similar to the latest model released by the Californian brand, the iPhone 18’s performance promises to be revolutionary.
New Colors
As Apple announced on its website, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max came in a variety of colors—Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, and Silver—for a “refined look.” However, it seems that the company founded by Steve Jobs will opt for a more elegant finish this time around. According to the latest leaks, the colors for the new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models will be deep red, coffee brown, and purple.
Changes to the Dynamic Island
After months of rumors about what the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 18 would look like, an image has surfaced showing a clear reduction in size. Currently, this interactive area at the top of the phone measures 20.7 mm, but this number will apparently be smaller on Apple’s new model. As for screen size, it will remain unchanged from the iPhone 17 Pro. In other words, the iPhone 18 Pro will have a 6.3-inch screen, and the Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen.
How much will the iPhone 18 Pro cost?
The iPhone 18 Pro will feature the A20 Pro chip, which will be smaller and offer faster memory access speeds. However, TSMC, the chip manufacturer, has warned that the chip will be 50% more expensive than the one used in other iPhones. In this regard, Apple appears reluctant to raise the price of its new phone compared to the Pro and Pro Max versions of the previous model. If this is confirmed, the prices for the new iPhone would be as follows:
- iPhone 18 Pro: starting at $1,099
- iPhone 18 Pro Max: starting at $1,199
When is the new iPhone coming out?
