New Nintendo Indie World announced for this week: date, time, and how to watch live
Several days after the Nintendo Direct focused on third-party games, it’s now the turn of indie developers.
Only seven days have passed since the last Nintendo Direct dedicated to Switch and Switch 2, an event focused on the proposals of third parties, and now, at the beginning of August, we have a new appointment with the Japanese company, as it has just announced a new Indie World for Thursday, August 7. It is a 15-minute slot dedicated to independent developers, so the community is already speculating about the possibility of the unmentionable Silksong appearing. It seems difficult, but for dreaming....
When and what time is the Switch 2 Indie World
The Nintendo Direct will take place on Thursday, August 7, at 6:00 am PT. You will be able to follow it live on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel. That’s right, some of us will have to wake up a little earlier than usual to see the upcoming titles. The schedule in which you can watch it in the United States is as follows:
- 9:00 am ET
- 8:00 am CT
- 6:00 am PT
What can we expect from the Indie World Showcase?
As with the Nintendo Direct a few days ago, the first thing to note is that this Direct focuses on indie games, so the warning is more significant. There won’t be any Metroid or Super Mario titles, nor anything related to Nintendo’s development teams. However, we will see indie titles, which played a significant role in the success of the Nintendo Switch. As mentioned earlier, this could be a great chance to see something related to Silksong, given that it will be showcased at gamescom in a couple of weeks. However, due to its agreement with Xbox, it is also possible that we will not see anything more concrete until that week.
