New Pokémon TCG Pocket battle event highlights card from one of Ash Ketchum’s legendary friends
Lapras ex is the card you can get in the promotional packs for the first Battle Event in the game.
Pokémon has once again revolutionized the mobile video game scene. This November 5th, the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket adds a new event with promotional cards. It will be the first one dedicated to combat, and it will also focus on one of the great friendships Ash Ketchum made during his journey as a trainer.
All about the Lapras Event in Pokémon TCG Pocket: Date, Cards...
We talk about Lapras, which arrives in ex-card format as part of the promotional packs of the event, which will be available until next November 17 at 11:59 pm. It focuses on duels against CPU-controlled trainers with cards that are part of the envelope. Cards exclusive to the event include Butterfree, Pikachu, Clefairy, and Mankey. There will be plenty of time to add them to your deck.
Whether or not you receive a promotional envelope at the end of a battle is a matter of luck. And if you do get one, there is also a chance that it will contain some of the cards we have mentioned. Event Battles require a currency called Event Energy, which, like the rest of the game, is recharged over time. You can also use “event hourglasses” to speed up the recharge time.
In the Pokémon anime, Lapras is one of Ash Ketchum’s inseparable friends. He first appeared in the second season in the episode “The Lost Lapras. After that little adventure, they forged an everlasting friendship that continues to this day.
