Nintendo unintentionally revealed a Switch 2 feature during its announcement video
A new button under the home action was shown, giving a glimpse of what we’ll see in the final version of the Nintendo Switch 2.

Nintendo has taken a careful approach in unveiling the Nintendo Switch 2, keeping quiet over the past months except for a few statements from Furukawa, the company’s president. Some leaks hinted at the console’s design, but its official reveal finally showcased its essence. Interestingly, this unveiling didn’t display the final launch model, and now it seems Nintendo may have accidentally revealed more details.
First official image of Nintendo Switch 2’s ‘C’ button
This new button appears beneath the Home button on the right Joy-Con. During the January reveal, it was presented as a blank design without any figure or lettering. However, the Nintendo Today app now shows that the button is marked with the letter ‘C.’ Leaks had previously mentioned this design, but for some reason, Nintendo chose to omit it during the initial reveal.

While its purpose hasn’t been officially disclosed, rumors suggest that the ‘C’ stands for ’Campus,’ a feature that focuses on enhancing online community engagement. This could include voice chats with friends and the ability to reply to messages. Full details on the software behind this feature are expected on April 2.
