However, this kind of publications achieve that Donald Trump’s name can be placed as a trending topic within the platform. It is not the first time that there has been a “change” in the Like button of X

Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter on October 27, 2022 to rebrand it as X, people have been playing with the idea that these changes could happen without actually showing anything. The first and most viral of these supposed changes happened in July 2023, when it went viral that the classic heart would become the X icon.

This has happened with events and other brands. Last August, it was reported that “Elon Musk has temporarily changed the like button for a test phase,” which turned out to be false.
