“On October 3, he asked me what day it was. It’s October 3rd.” Paramount is releasing Mean Girls for free on TikTok because of a line of dialogue from the movie.

“On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was. This simple line of dialogue, taken from the movie “Mean Girls”, has allowed Paramount to re-release it in a very peculiar way: for free, on TikTok and divided into 23 video clips.

Mean Girls’ comes to TikTok for free almost twenty years later, just because it’s October 3

The film production company Paramount has created an official TikTok account for the movie ‘Mean Girls’, which we can access here. In this account, ‘Mean Girls’ is uploaded in its entirety, divided into a total of 23 clips, and of course, in English, just the way it was originally intended. The reason? Simply because it is October 3rd; this date is part of one of the most recognizable dialogues of the film.

Below is the first part of this movie, which, as we said, is available in full on his official TikTok account:

Mean Girls is a 2004 teen comedy film directed by Mark Waters and written by Tina Fey. It stars Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amy Poehler and Fey herself. As a curiosity, this movie was the film debut of Amanda Seyfried. The plot tells the story of Cady Heron (Lohan), who has to face the difficulties of life in a high school in the United States, after having been educated at home for years, because her parents spent the last twelve years working as researchers in Africa.

Mean Girls’ grossed $130 million; considering its $17 million budget, it was very profitable for Paramount. It was also a critical success, winning three Teen Choice Awards and three MTV Movie Awards, and is still considered a cult classic.

Lohan was last seen in Prime Video’s 2022 reality “Lovestruck High,” and McAdams was last seen in 2022′s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’.
