Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown sees the return of the Ubisoft franchise after years of absence

After almost a decade without anything but the promise of a remake, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown brings back Ubisoft’s legacy series with a new look and style.

The first surprise of the Summer Game Fest arrived as soon as it started. Ubisoft announced Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a completely new installment in the franchise. Everything seemed to indicate that there would be no other projects until the Sands of Time remake was available, but the publishers had an ace up its sleeve. The trailer, which you can see in this same news, presents a sidescrolling game, in which platforms and combat are mixed with all kinds of creatures to fight.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will get an extended showcase during the Ubisoft Forward event on June 12. It will go on sale on January 18, 2024, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

The Summer Game Fest 2023 stream was only the beggining. E3 may have been canceled, but its spirit remains in Los Angeles. In addition to the Geoff Keighley show, players will have other presentations available to watch over the next few days.Indies will get many chances to show off games during the Tribeca Spotlight and Wholesome Direct 2023. On the other hand, on Saturday, June 10, the Future Games Show returns with news for PC and consoles.

And the PC fans? Does anyone think about PC fans? Well, yes. June 11, the PC Gaming Show is happening, the same day as the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase,which will also feature a presentation dedicated to Starfield.
