Ray Liotta revealed his opinion on the most overrated actor, and Jennifer Lopez was shocked: “I don’t give a s...”

Ray Liotta passed away with a great filmography, but also with hilarious moments like this one.

Update:

Ray Liotta passed away just over two years ago, leaving behind an extensive filmography, but also unforgettable moments, and not just on the big screen. One of the funniest moments took place during the program ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,’ more specifically in a segment called “Plead the Fifth,” which refers to the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution, whereby no one is compelled to testify against themselves in a trial. On that occasion, eight years ago, the actor of Italian-Irish descent appeared alongside Jennifer Lopez, leaving behind some memorable answers.

Cohen asked Liotta about the actress he had worked with who was the worst kisser, a question he hesitated over, but only briefly. “Sigourney,” he said, recalling his co-star Sigourney Weaver in ‘Heartbreakers,’ which also starred Jennifer Love Hewitt and the recently deceased Gene Hackman. The surprise would come later.

The question was a tough one, asking Liotta which actor from the 80s and 90s he considered most overrated, and he didn’t hesitate to drop the bombshell. “As an actor? Pbbbt, Clint Eastwood probably,” he said, eliciting laughter from the audience and a look of astonishment from Lopez. “I don’t give a shit,” he insisted. As he himself clarified, they were talking about his career as an actor, not as a director, leaving his mark on those decades with films such as 'A Perfect World,’ ‘The Bridges of Madison County’, ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil,’ and surely the most memorable, ‘Unforgiven.’

Liotta’s legacy in cinema

Ray Liotta passed away in May 2022, a victim of a chronic disease that caused a narrowing of the arteries, making the patient particularly prone to strokes or heart attacks. Liotta left this world behind a prolific filmography, including ‘Cop Land,’ ‘Something Wild,’ ‘Hannibal,’ and above all, his memorable role as Henry Hill in ‘Goodfellas,’ Scorsese’s masterpiece.

In addition, Liotta lent his voice to Tommy Vercetti, the protagonist of the memorable GTA: Vice City.
