Release date and how to pre-order ‘Wind and Truth’, the final book of Era 1 of the ‘Stormlight Archive’
Over a decade after it’s start, Brandon Sanderson is closing off the first era of ‘The Stormlight Archive’ series of books with its fifth and final part, ‘Wind and Truth’.
Where were you when The Way of Kings was released? Where were you back in 2012, when ‘Mistborn’ Was nothing more than a trilogy? By then Sanderson already insisted on it, but we still did not fully understand what his concept if “Era”. We couldn’t imagine more than 10 years and over 10 books later, we would be as excited as we are now when we see the end of the long road traveled together with Kaladin, Shallan, Dalinar, Szeth and company. But now, the author has just confirmed the release date for ‘Wind and Truth’.
When does ‘Wind and Truth’ come out?
‘Wind and Truth’, the fifth book of the first era of ‘The Stormlight Archive’, will come out on December 6, 2024. Given the success of Brandon Sanderson’s novels, we are talking about a worldwide launch.
Where to pre-order ‘Wind and Truth’?
Although it doesn’t even have a cover yet, ‘Wind and truth’ can already be pre-ordered on the official site, where we are offered links to the main establishments (Waterstones, Amazon, Kindle, Booktopia, Whitcoulls and Audible). To get the book in another language, we’ll still need to wait for publishing houses from around the world to make their own announcements.
For those of you who have not yet fallen into Sanderson’s clutches, a piece of advice: it is the best possible hug for those waiting on George RR Martin and Patrick Rothfuss. At the rate in which he releases new books, Sanderson might end his universe before the others publish a new installment of their respective sagas ( ‘Winds of Winter’, ‘Doors of Stone’).
