Marvel Studios

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman kick off the ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ tour with an sketch

Both protagonists of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, the newest Marvel Studios movie, also star in a new hilarious clip alongside director Shawn Levy to celebrate the beginning of their world tour.

Deadpool y Lobezno

Deadpool and Wolverine’ is only days away from its release in theaters, and the people behind it have already started an international press tour to promote the film. Its journey throughout the planet started in the city of Shanghai, where its two protagonists, Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) shared a hilarious new video which you can see below with their usual joking tone, with director Shawn Levy trying to control his unruly actors.

Breaking the fourth wall, once again

As usual in ‘Deadpool’ franchise -both in comics and in cinema-, Ryan Reynolds does not hesitate to break the fourth wall again and again to carry out his jokes and pranks, with Hugh Jackman usually the victim of the jokes. They both already did it in a recent advertisement for cinemas in which they invited us to turn off cell phones in screenings; Now, Ryan Reynolds addresses fans from Shanghai, where the international press tour has begun with a spectacular and imposing stage.

To do this, the actor did not hesitate to mock his colleague Hugh while he’s taking selfies with the face of his character in the background, ensuring that “It’s the first time Hugh’s handlers have ever let him outside, he’s never been in the sun before, and he’s never touched electronics”, to which Jackman recriminates his comments by sprinting at him. At that moment, Reynolds runs away shouting that he was just saying that “He was so tall and so handsome”, with Shawn Levy later appearing in frame with a clapperboard to shout “Cut!” with a face of resignation.

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ opens in theaters July 25 and the expectation cannot be higher for one of the most anticipated films of this year.
