One Piece

Say goodbye to hundreds of theories about Kurohige in ‘One Piece’, a new ability in Elbaph dismantles everything

A theory that seems to disappear completely.

one piece

One Piece’ is experiencing what many consider to be the best moment in its history, and that is no small thing when we are talking about a work that is almost three decades old. Eiichiro Oda’s manga is in the middle of the Elbaph arc, a moment that has been awaited for almost 25 years, when it was first mentioned in chapter 116, and for the moment it has been worth the wait. In the land of the giants, we were introduced to Shamrock Figarland, leader of the God’s Knights, brother of Shanks, and a figure of enormous power who, in chapter 1138, gave us a demonstration that served to bury hundreds of theories developed over the years surrounding Marshall D. Teach, the pirate known as Kurohige.

What is it all about? Shamrock’s sword, to the surprise of many, is Cerberus, the dog of the god Hades in Greek mythology, a three-headed monster that guarded the door to the underworld and made sure that the dead did not leave and the living did not enter. In One Piece, inanimate objects can consume devil fruit, and while it can’t be ruled out as an ability or power unrelated to akuma no mi, it feels like it’s one of them.

An ability of enormous power is introduced in ‘One Piece’

What does it have to do with Kurohige? One of the most common theories about the dangerous pirate is that he possessed the fruit of Cerberus, assuming that he had three heads or souls, which caused the character to have several fruits of the devil as we have seen in the series. Now, after Shamrock’s demonstration of power in front of Loki, there are doubts and the possibility that this fruit is out of Kurohige’s reach forever.
