SEGA drops the bomb: Persona 4 Revival is official and nostalgia invades us in the tremendous first trailer of the remake

If you’re a fan of JRPGs, you’re in luck today. Atlus took the stage of the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 to announce one of the most anticipated titles for fans of the genre: Persona 4 Revival is official! This is the remake of the fourth installment in the series, which is one of the most beloved by fans. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, although for now there is no confirmed release date.

Atlus, the queen of JRPG

It would be unfair to reduce Atlus’ success to its last years, since we are talking about a company with a trajectory of almost 40 years -founded in 1986- and responsible for franchises such as Shin Megami Tensei and Persona. However, its popularity has reached new heights thanks to the resounding impact and quality of titles like Persona 4, Persona 5 and the recent Metaphor: ReFantazio, already considered one of the best games of 2024.

Atlus remains faithful to its creative philosophy of telling deep stories through the classic JRPG formula, which has been perfected over time. The result is experiences so refined that titles like Persona 5 Royal and Metaphor: ReFantazio have scored around 95 on Metacritic.
