Silent Hill 2 Remake announces release date and new trailer's graphics fail to convince

Angela’s appearance in the State of Play video reignites the controversy over whether this remake is up to par, the choice of Bloober, and every single change it makes.

Update:
Silent Hill 2 Remake

At least now we know when the debates will end. The remake of Silent Hill 2 was present at Sony’s new State of Play to confirm its release date (October 8, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and PC) and to present a new trailer that, as always, has created a new fire in the networks.

This time Angela’s appearance is the change in the eye of the hurricane and adds to the controversy with the appearance of James and the possibility of dealing with Pyramid Head in the remake. A few months ago, we showed you a comparison to the original game and asked you the question: Why does Silent Hill 2 Remake look so bad?

The most anticipated releases for PS4 and PS5 in 2024

Although Sony had warned that there would be no new installments of its “great franchises” until 2025 and even confessed to foreseeing a decline in PS5 sales in 2024, the truth is that the console’s release calendar has begun to take on a great color after the State of Play. Look out for a catalog of great games to come:

  • Destiny 2: The Final Shape - June 4, 2024
  • V Rising - June 11, 2024
  • Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree - June 21, 2024
  • Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail - July 7, 2024
  • Darkest Dungeon 2 - July 15, 2024
  • F1 Manager 2024 - July 23, 2024
  • Black Myth: Wukong - August 20, 2024
  • Concord - August 23, 2024
  • Star Wars Outlaws - August 30, 2024
  • Astrobot - September 6, 2024
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - September 9, 2024
  • Metaphor: ReFantazio - October 11, 2024
  • Assassin’s Creed Shadows - November 15, 2024

In short, there is a lot of good stuff to choose from. Once again, there will be hours to enjoy it all. Long live video games.
