Silent Hill: Townfall gives us a scare during State of Play, revealing that its release date is closer than we thought
Update:

Konami appeared during the State of Play to offer a new look at Silent Hill: Townfall, the upcoming title in the franchise developed in collaboration with Annapurna Interactive and Screen Burn. The game, which debuted during the State of Play in February of this year, will take us to a small island in Scotland called St. Amelia. You can watch the new trailer below, which showcases new environments on the island.

Like its predecessor, ‘Silent Hill f,’ the horror is no longer confined to that small town in the United States; it takes us on a journey through the fog to other parts of the world. In the trailer, we see our new protagonist, Simon, walking through the town’s residential area, moving away from the marina seen in the teaser. With his CRTV Pocket TV, Simon will have the tool he needs to solve challenging puzzles that reveal the truth behind what’s happening, all while avoiding combat as much as possible.

Two Special Editions and Release Date

Silent Hill: Townfall also announced that it will be released in two editions, along with their respective pre-order bonuses.

  • The Standard Edition will include two CRTV skins as part of its pre-order bonus: Rusted and Beach Edition, with the latter being exclusive to PlayStation 5.
  • The Deluxe Edition will include a Digital Artbook, Digital Soundtrack, and Simon’s Outfit: Alternate. Those who pre-order this edition will receive 48-hour early access, as well as the CRTV styles: Rusted and Beach Edition.
