Tom Holland may be filming Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey right now, but that doesn’t mean Marvel Studios isn’t working on the next Spider-Man movie. And according to the latest report, Sadie Sink, who plays Max in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, will be part of the cast.

According to a report from Deadline, the actress will join the sequel from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios in an unannounced role. For several months now, the actress has been rumored to be in Marvel Studios' sights to bring Jean Grey to life with the upcoming arrival of the ‘X-Men’ in the MCU. However, her appearance in the next friendly neighbor movie raises the question of what character she might play. Since we already had one MJ, and Peter Parker’s story has had some changes from what we know in the comics, could it be that we will have a second MJ? Another character? Or will Spider-Man 4 really be the gateway to the X-Men? So far neither Marvel nor Sony have commented on this.
